What are some of the differences between
E-1 and E-2 visas?
Treaty traders that carry on substantial trade in goods, including but not limited to services and technology between the US and the foreign country of which they are citizens can apply for the E-1 visa. For treaty investors that direct the operations of an enterprise in which they have or are actively investing a substantial amount of money can apply for an E-2 visa.
